Similar to modeling, my experience drawing developed substantially after the pandemic. Being able to jot down ideas by hand and discover new opportunities with drafting have helped produce a lot of success in my designs. I learned the importance of hand drawing my third year and continued to develop the skill in my study abroad program in Venice. Attention to detail and quick discoveries are made when the sketchbook and pencil are used. The progress of my sketches have helped me grow into a thoughtful, detail oriented and creative designer.

In Venice, I was challenged to develop my own method of documentation through sketches. I formed an eye for details and trends among ancient works. I learned a new process of understanding a monumental work of architecture.
